What is DTF?
DTF, or Direct to Film, is a new technology which prints designs onto a special clear polyester film by using digital water-based inks and a powder adhesive coating. This powder coating requires curing. After curing, the DTF transfers are ready to be heat pressed onto your garment or other substrates by using a heat press.
DTF printing allows for very exact ink quantities, meaning vibrant colors, opaque whites as well as remarkably sharp and fine edges. The DTF film onto which the design in printed absorbs almost every drop of color, which makes for beautiful transfers with high levels of detail and bright colors.
DTF transfers can be used on light and dark garments and can be applied on a wide range of materials including 100% Cotton, Cotton/Poly blends, Polyester, Nylon, Lycra and Cardboard. No weeding or masking required!
